An insatiable curiosity to learn, a passion for mental puzzles, and desire for mental challenges has shaped a near fifteen year career in data analysis. Buttressed by a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, I’ve had the pleasure of influencing executive strategy at the Chicago Section 8 Program as a management analyst, helped to bring down the global economy as a corporate bond & credit derivatives analyst in New York, and now optimize any manner of measurable metrics – from pricing to inventory allocation – with an amazingly talented set of colleagues at Folio Fine Wine Partners.
The road to the wine industry has taken me all over the world, from the steep slopes of the Douro river valley to remote wilds of Tasmania. I have pursued wine education with energetic zeal and have earned a sommelier certification from the International Sommelier Guild and a level 4 diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. I am currently a Master of Wine candidate.
In my spare time, I play ice hockey, teach WSET, and grow fruits and vegetables for my husband and puppy in Oakland.
